Resources   X   Skill Sets   X   Perseverance   =   Results

Resources are your contacts, time and money.  Everyone has some resources.

Skill Sets are your skills in prospecting, internet marketing, closing sales, giving sales presentations, objection handling and other skills in direct sales.

Perseverance is believing, acting, and working as if you will be successful until you see the results.  

Skill sets and your perseverance are essential to your success. Resources multiplied by zero skill sets or zero perseverance will always get you zero, because anything times zero is zero. No amount of money will get you results without skill sets and perseverance.

Money simply is not a prerequisite for success in direct sales.  Direct sales provides a more level playing field for its participants. Individuals with less money have the potential to be far more successful than those with more money simply by persevering and improving their skill sets.

You can build up your skill sets by listening to webinars, attending training seminars, and learning about your products in order to improve the results in your business.  It is exciting to know that your success is not limited to your resources. It is motivating to know that you can multiply your results by improving your skill sets.  This should also inspire you to help others build their skill sets.  

Finally, we have to remember that success takes endurance.  Most long distance marathon runners start out by running shorter distances and build up their skills and endurance.  The more you run, the farther you will go and the better you will do.
